Tongue Web Piercing

Not everyone has a suitable tongue web to pierce. However, if you are considering it, a captive bead ring (as pictured) works best during the healing process. In fact, a captive bead ring will serve you best even when the healing period is over because it is very easy to clean. Barbells are definitley a viable option, but they are harder to clean. If plaque gets stuck in the threading, taking out your barbell will be extremely difficult. This is a great piercing, and although it looks extreme, it is pretty much painless and lots of fun!
